1 Псалм на Кореевите синове. Песен. Неговата основа е на светите планини. 2 ГОСПОД обича портите на Сион повече от всички жилища на Яков. 3 Славни неща се говориха за теб, граде Божи. (Села.) 4 Ще спомена Рахавт. е. Египет и Вавилон на онези, които Ме познават. Ето, Филистия и Тир с Етиопия: Този се е родил там. 5 А за Сион ще се каже: Този и онзи са се родили в него, и сам Всевишният ще го утвърди. 6 ГОСПОД ще запише при записването на народите: Този се е родил там. (Села.) 7 Както певците, така и музикантите ще казват: Всичките ми извори са в теб!

Glorious Things of You Are Spoken

1 A Psalm of the Sons of Korah. A Song. On the holy mount stands the city he founded; 2 the Lord loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwelling places of Jacob. 3 Glorious things of you are spoken, O city of God. 4 Among those who know me I mention Rahab and Babylon; behold, Philistia and Tyre, with Cush*— “This one was born there,” they say. 5 And of Zion it shall be said, “This one and that one were born in her”; for the Most High himself will establish her. 6 The Lord records as he registers the peoples, “This one was born there.” 7 Singers and dancers alike say, “All my springs are in you.”
