1Jahwe sagte zu Mose:2„Sag den Israeliten, dass sie mir freiwillige Gaben bringen. Von jedem, der es gern gibt, sollt ihr diese Opfergabe annehmen.3Sie kann aus Gold, Silber oder Bronze bestehen.4Es kann blauer oder roter Purpur sein, Karmesinstoff, Leinen oder Ziegenhaar.5Lasst rot gefärbte Felle von Schafböcken bringen, Tachasch-Häute* und Akazienholz,6Öl für den Leuchter, wohlriechende Zutaten für das Salböl und die Weihrauchmischung,7dazu Edelsteine und Onyx zum Schmuck für das Efod* und die Brusttasche.8Sie sollen mir ein Heiligtum bauen, weil ich unter ihnen wohnen will.9Ich habe dir das Modell dieser Wohnung samt ihren Einrichtungsgegenständen gezeigt. Dementsprechend sollt ihr sie bauen.“
Die Bundeslade
10„Sie sollen eine Lade aus Akazienholz machen: 1,25 Meter* lang, 75 Zentimeter breit und ebenso hoch.11Innen und außen soll sie mit reinem Gold überzogen sein und oben mit einer Goldleiste verziert.12Lass vier Ringe aus Gold gießen und so an den vier Ecken anbringen, dass an jeder Längsseite zwei Ringe sind.13Lass dann Stangen aus Akazienholz anfertigen und mit Gold überziehen.14Diese Stangen sollen durch die Ringe an der Längsseite gesteckt werden, damit man die Lade tragen kann.15Die Stangen müssen in den Ringen bleiben und dürfen nicht herausgezogen werden.16In die Lade sollst du die Urkunde legen, die ich dir geben werde.17Lass dann eine Deckplatte* aus reinem Gold herstellen: 1,25 Meter lang und 75 Zentimeter breit.18Weiter lass zwei Cherubim-Figuren* aus getriebenem Gold herstellen.19Sie sollen sich an den beiden Enden der Deckplatte befinden und fest mit ihr verbunden sein.20Die Cherubim sollen ihre Flügel nach oben über die Deckplatte ausgebreitet halten. Ihre Gesichter sollen einander zugewandt sein und ihr Blick auf die Deckplatte gerichtet.21In die Lade sollst du die Urkunde legen, die ich dir geben werde, und den Kasten dann mit der Deckplatte verschließen.22Dort über der Deckplatte der Bundeslade werde ich dir begegnen. Du wirst meine Stimme zwischen den beiden Cherubim hören, meine Anweisungen für die Israeliten.“
Der Tisch für die geweihten Brote
23„Lass einen Tisch aus Akazienholz machen, einen Meter lang, einen halben Meter breit und dreiviertel Meter hoch!24Lass ihn mit Gold überziehen und mit einer goldenen Schmuckleiste einfassen!25Er soll auch einen Rahmen von zehn Zentimeter Höhe haben, der ebenfalls von einer goldenen Schmuckleiste eingefasst ist.26Lass vier goldene Ringe für ihn anfertigen und an den Kanten der vier Füße befestigen!27Die Ringe sollen dicht an dem Rahmen sein und als Ösen für die Stangen dienen, damit man den Tisch tragen kann.28Die Tragstangen sollen aus Akazienholz sein und ebenfalls mit Gold überzogen werden.29Lass schließlich die Schüsseln und Schalen, die Kannen und Kellen anfertigen, die für das Trankopfer gebraucht werden. Auch sie müssen aus reinem Gold hergestellt werden.30Auf dem Tisch sollen die geweihten Brote immer vor mir ausgelegt sein.“
Der goldene Leuchter
31„Lass einen Leuchter* aus reinem Gold machen. Der Leuchter, sein Fußgestell und sein Schaft, seine Kelche, Knäufe und Blüten sollen aus einem Stück getrieben sein.32Von seinem Schaft sollen je drei Arme nach beiden Seiten ausgehen,33jeder von ihnen mit drei Kelchen in Form von Mandelblüten verziert und jede mit einem Knauf darunter.34Auch auf dem Schaft selbst sollen sich vier solcher Blütenkelche mit Knauf befinden,35drei davon unter den Ansatzstellen der Armpaare.36Der ganze Leuchter mit seinen Knäufen und Armen soll aus einem Stück gearbeitet sein und aus reinem Gold bestehen.37Lass dann sieben Lampen machen, und setze sie so darauf, dass sie ihr Licht nach vorn fallen lassen.38Auch seine Dochtscheren und Pfännchen sollen aus reinem Gold sein.39Aus einem Talent reinen Goldes sollst du ihn und seine Geräte anfertigen lassen.40Und achte darauf, dass alles genau nach dem Modell angefertigt wird, das dir hier auf dem Berg gezeigt worden ist!“

Offerings for the holy tent
1The LORD said to Moses,2‘Tell the people of Israel to bring me an offering. You must receive the offering for me from everyone whose hearts move them to give.3‘Here are the offerings you must receive from them. ‘gold, silver and bronze4blue, purple and bright red yarn and fine linen goat hair5ram skins that are dyed red another kind of strong leather acacia wood6olive oil for the lights spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet-smelling incense7onyx stones and other jewels for the linen apron and chest cloth8‘Let them make a sacred tent for me. I will live among them.9Make the holy tent and everything that belongs to it. Make them exactly like the pattern I will show you.
The ark of the covenant law
10‘Let them make an ark out of acacia wood. It must be a chest 1.25 metres long and 75 centimetres wide and high.11Cover it inside and outside with pure gold. Put a strip of gold around it.12Make four gold rings for it. Join them to its four bottom corners. Put two rings on one side and two rings on the other.13Then make poles out of acacia wood. Cover them with gold.14Put the poles through the rings on the sides of the ark to carry it.15The poles must remain in the rings of the ark. Do not remove them.16I will give you the tablets of the covenant law. When I do, put them into the ark.17‘Make its cover out of pure gold. The cover is the place where sin will be paid for. Make it 1.25 metres long and 75 centimetres wide.18Make two cherubim out of hammered gold at the ends of the cover.19Put one of the cherubim on each end of it. Make the cherubim part of the cover itself.20They must have their wings spread up over the cover. The cherubim must face each other and look towards the cover.21Place the cover on top of the ark. I will give you the tablets of the covenant law. Put them in the ark.22The ark is where the tablets of the covenant law are kept. I will meet with you above the cover between the two cherubim that are over the ark. There I will give you all my commands for the Israelites.
The table for the holy bread
23‘Make a table out of acacia wood. Make it 1 metre long, half a metre wide and 75 centimetres high.24Cover it with pure gold. Put a strip of gold around it.25Also make a rim around it 8 centimetres wide. Put a strip of gold around the rim.26Make four gold rings for the table. Join them to the four corners, where the four legs are.27The rings must be close to the rim. They must hold the poles that will be used to carry the table.28Make the poles out of acacia wood. Cover them with gold. Use them to carry the table.29Make its plates and dishes out of pure gold. Also make its pitchers and bowls out of pure gold. Use the pitchers and bowls to pour out drink offerings.30Put the holy bread on the table. It must be near my holy throne on the ark of the covenant law at all times.
The gold lampstand
31‘Make a lampstand out of pure gold. Hammer out its base and stem. Its buds, blossoms and cups must branch out from it. They must be part of the lampstand itself.32Six branches must come out from the sides of the lampstand. Make three on one side and three on the other.33On one branch make three cups that are shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms. Then put three on the next branch. Do the same with all six branches that come out from the lampstand.34On the lampstand there must be four cups that are shaped like almond flowers with buds and blossoms.35One bud must be under the first pair of branches that come out from the lampstand. Put a second bud under the second pair. And put a third bud under the third pair. Make a total of six branches.36The buds and branches must come out from the lampstand. The whole lampstand must be one piece hammered out of pure gold.37‘Then make its seven lamps. Set them up on it so that they light the space in front of it.38The trays and wick cutters must be made out of pure gold.39Use 36 kilograms of pure gold to make the lampstand and everything used with it.40Be sure to make everything just like the pattern I showed you on the mountain.
