Das Gebiet des Stammes Simeon

1 Als Zweites wurde für den Stamm Simeon mit seinen Sippen das Los geworfen.* Sein Erbbesitz liegt mitten im Gebiet des Stammes Juda. 2 Ihm gehören ´die Städte` Beerscheba, Scheba*, Molada, 3 Hazar-Schual, Baala, Ezem, 4 Eltolad, Betul, Horma, 5 Ziklag, Bet-Markabot, Hazar-Susa, 6 Bet-Lebaot und Scharuhen. Das sind dreizehn Städte mit ihren umliegenden Dörfern; 7 außerdem En-Rimmon*, Eter und Aschan. Das sind vier Städte mit ihren umliegenden Dörfern. 8 Dazu gehören alle Ortschaften im Umkreis dieser Städte bis nach Baalat-Beer, das auch als Rama des Südens bekannt ist. Dies ist der Erbbesitz des Stammes Simeon mit seinen Sippen. 9 Er wurde vom Gebiet des Stammes Juda abgetrennt, denn der Stamm Juda hatte mehr Land bekommen, als er brauchte. Darum liegt der Erbbesitz des Stammes Simeon im Gebiet von Juda.

Das Gebiet des Stammes Sebulon

10 Als Drittes wurde für den Stamm Sebulon mit seinen Sippen das Los geworfen. Sein Erbbesitz reicht ´im Süden` bis ´zur Stadt` Sarid. 11 Von Sarid aus verläuft die Grenze Richtung Westen über Marala und Dabbeschet bis zum Bachtal bei Jokneam. 12 Von Sarid aus Richtung Osten führt die Grenze vorbei am Gebiet von Kislot-Tabor nach Daberat und weiter bis hinauf nach Jafia. 13 Von dort aus verläuft sie ´Richtung Norden` östlich an Gat-Hefer und Et-Kazin vorbei bis nach Rimmon. In Rimmon macht sie einen Bogen westwärts nach Nea 14 und führt von dort als Nordgrenze in westlicher Richtung über Hannon bis zum Tal Jiftach-El. 15 ´Im Stammesgebiet von Sebulon liegen außerdem die Städte` Kattat*, Nahalal, Schimron, Jidala und Betlehem*. Insgesamt gehören zwölf Städte* mit ihren umliegenden Dörfern dazu. 16 Dieses Gebiet mitsamt seinen Städten und Dörfern erhielt der Stamm Sebulon mit seinen Sippen als Erbbesitz.

Das Gebiet des Stammes Issachar

17 Als Viertes wurde für den Stamm Issachar mit seinen Sippen das Los geworfen. 18 Sein Gebiet umfasst ´die Städte` Jesreel, Kesullot, Schunem, 19 Hafarajim, Schion, Anaharat, 20 Daberat*, Kischjon, Ebez, 21 Remet, En-Gammin, En-Hadda und Bet-Pazzez. 22 Die Nordgrenze führt vom Berg Tabor über Schahazajim und Bet-Schemesch bis zum Jordan. Insgesamt gehören sechzehn Städte mit ihren umliegenden Dörfern zum Stamm Issachar. 23 Dieses Gebiet mitsamt seinen Städten und Dörfern erhielt der Stamm Issachar mit seinen Sippen als Erbbesitz.

Das Gebiet des Stammes Ascher

24 Als Fünftes wurde für den Stamm Ascher mit seinen Sippen das Los geworfen. 25 Sein Gebiet umfasst ´im Süden` die Städte Helkat, Beten, Achschaf, 26 Alammelech, Amad und Mischal. ´Im Südwesten` stößt es an das Karmelgebirge und den Fluss Libnat. 27 Aschers Ostgrenze führt ´von Helkat aus` Richtung Bet Dagon. Sie verläuft entlang der Grenze Sebulons und dem Tal Jiftach-El in nördlicher Richtung nach Bet-Emek und Negiël. ´Weiter umfasst Aschers Gebiet die Städte` Kabul, Mischal, 28 Abdon*, Rehob, Hammon und Kana. ´Im äußersten Norden` erreicht seine Grenze die große Stadt Sidon. 29 Dort wendet sie sich nach Rama, stößt an ´das Gebiet` der befestigten Stadt Tyrus, verläuft weiter nach Hosa und endet am Mittelmeer. ´Zum Stammesgebiet von Ascher` gehören außerdem die Städte Mahaleb, Achsib, 30 Akko*, Afek und Rehob. Insgesamt sind es zweiundzwanzig Städte mit ihren umliegenden Dörfern. 31 Dieses Gebiet mitsamt seinen Städten und Dörfern erhielt der Stamm Ascher mit seinen Sippen als Erbbesitz.

Das Gebiet des Stammes Naftali

32 Als Sechstes wurde für den Stamm Naftali mit seinen Sippen das Los geworfen. 33 Die Südgrenze seines Gebiets verläuft von Helef ´ostwärts` nach Elon-Zaanannim, über Adami-Nekeb und Jabneel bis nach Lakkum und endet am Jordan. 34 In westlicher Richtung führt sie ´von Helef aus` über Asnot-Tabor nach Hukkok. ´Das Gebiet des Stammes Naftali` grenzt im Süden an das Stammesgebiet von Sebulon, im Westen an das Gebiet des Stammes Ascher und im Osten an den Jordan*. 35 Folgende befestigte Städte ´gehören zum Gebiet von Naftali`: Ziddim, Zer, Hammat, Rakkat, Kinneret, 36 Adama, Rama, Hazor, 37 Kedesch, Edreï, En-Hazor, 38 Jiron, Migdal-El, Horem, Bet-Anat und Bet-Schemesch. Insgesamt sind es neunzehn Städte mit ihren umliegenden Dörfern. 39 Dieses Gebiet mitsamt seinen Städten und Dörfern erhielt der Stamm Naftali mit seinen Sippen als Erbbesitz.

Das Gebiet des Stammes Dan

40 Als Siebtes wurde für den Stamm Dan mit seinen Sippen das Los geworfen. 41 Zu seinem Erbbesitz gehören die Städte Zora, Eschtaol, Ir-Schemesch, 42 Schaalbim, Ajalon, Jitla, 43 Elon, Timna, Ekron, 44 Elteke, Gibbeton, Baalat, 45 Jehud, Bene-Berak, Gat-Rimmon, 46 Me-Jarkon sowie Rakkon und sein Gebiet gegenüber Jafo. 47 – Dieses Gebiet ging den Danitern jedoch später verloren. Darum zogen sie ´nach Norden` vor die Stadt Lajisch*, eroberten sie, töteten ihre Einwohner mit dem Schwert und siedelten sich dort an. Nach dem Namen ihres Stammvaters benannten sie die Stadt um in Dan. – 48 Dieses Gebiet mitsamt seinen Städten und Dörfern erhielt der Stamm Dan mit seinen Sippen als Erbbesitz.

Der Landanteil Josuas

49 Als das ganze Land unter den Stämmen verteilt war, gaben die Israeliten auch Josua, dem Sohn Nuns, ein Stück Land in ihrer Mitte als Erbbesitz. 50 Auf Anweisung des HERRN bekam er die Stadt, um die er gebeten hatte, nämlich Timnat-Serach im Bergland von Efraim. Josua baute die Stadt aus und ließ sich dort nieder. 51 Dies sind die Gebiete, die den Israeliten als Erbbesitz zugeteilt wurden. Der Priester Eleasar, Josua, der Sohn Nuns, und die Stammesoberhäupter Israels wiesen sie den einzelnen Stämmen mithilfe des Loses zu. Das geschah vor dem HERRN am Eingang des Begegnungszeltes in Schilo. Damit war die Verteilung des Landes ´Kanaan` abgeschlossen.

1 And the second lot came forth to Simeon, even for the tribe of the children of Simeon according to their families: and their inheritance was within the inheritance of the children of Judah. 2 And they had in their inheritance Beersheba, or Sheba, and Moladah, 3 And Hazarshual, and Balah, and Azem, 4 And Eltolad, and Bethul, and Hormah, 5 And Ziklag, and Bethmarcaboth, and Hazarsusah, 6 And Bethlebaoth, and Sharuhen; thirteen cities and their villages: 7 Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; four cities and their villages: 8 And all the villages that were round about these cities to Baalathbeer, Ramath of the south. So they made an end of dividing the country.
