Gott ist Sieger!

1 Ein Lied von David. 2 Gott erhebt sich und zerstreut seine Feinde; alle, die ihn hassen, ergreifen vor ihm die Flucht. 3 Gott treibt sie auseinander wie Wind den Rauch. Wie Wachs im Feuer zerschmilzt, so vergehen alle, die Gott verachten, in seiner Gegenwart. 4 Diejenigen aber, die Gott die Treue halten, freuen sich, wenn er sich zeigt. Sie jubeln ihm zu, überwältigt von Freude. 5 Musiziert zu Gottes Ehre, besingt seinen Namen! Ebnet den Weg für den, der auf den Wolken reitet*: »HERR« ist sein Name. Jubelt ihm zu! 6 Ein Anwalt der Witwen und ein Vater der Waisen ist Gott in seiner heiligen Wohnung. 7 Den Einsamen gibt er ein Zuhause, den Gefangenen schenkt er Freiheit und Glück. Wer jedoch gegen jede Ordnung verstößt, der führt ein trostloses Leben. 8 Gott, als du vor deinem Volk herzogst und mit ihm die Wüste durchquertest, 9 da bebte die Erde; vom Himmel strömte der Regen herab, als du dich am Berg Sinai zeigtest, du Gott Israels. 10 Du ließest so viel Regen fallen, dass das ausgedörrte Land wieder fruchtbar wurde. Das Land, das du uns zum Erbe gegeben hattest, 11 wurde so zur Heimat für dein Volk. Du hast für sie gesorgt, du gütiger Gott! 12 Der Herr gab den Befehl, und viele Frauen verbreiteten die freudige Nachricht vom Sieg: 13 »Die feindlichen Könige jagen mit ihren Heeren davon, ja, sie ergreifen alle die Flucht! In den Häusern verteilt man schon die Beute: Silber und schimmerndes Gold – alles glitzert und glänzt in herrlicher Pracht!* Wollt ihr da noch bei den Herden sitzen bleiben?« 15 Als der allmächtige Gott die feindlichen Könige aus dem Land jagte, da bedeckte die Beute den Berg Zalmon wie Schnee*. 16 Mächtig erhebt sich der Berg Baschan, gewaltig ragen seine Kuppen empor. 17 Du zerklüfteter Berg, warum blickst du so neidisch auf Zion, den Berg, den Gott sich zu seinem Wohnsitz erwählt hat? Ja, für immer wird der HERR dort wohnen. 18 Unzählige Kampfwagen besitzt Gott, der Herr über die himmlischen Heere. Vom Sinai her zieht er in sein Heiligtum ein.* 19 Du bist in die Höhe hinaufgestiegen und hast Gefangene im Triumphzug mitgeführt. Du hast den Menschen Tribut auferlegt;* sogar die hartnäckigsten Feinde sind bereit, sich dir, HERR, unser Gott, zu unterwerfen. 20 Gepriesen sei der HERR für seine Hilfe! Tag für Tag trägt er unsere Lasten. 21 Er ist ein Gott, der eingreift, wenn wir in Not sind; ja, unser HERR kann sogar vom Tod erretten. 22 Seinen Feinden aber wird er den Kopf zerschmettern, denen, die sich von ihren Sünden nicht abbringen lassen. 23 Der Herr hat gesagt: »Ich ziehe meine Feinde zur Rechenschaft, ob sie sich im Baschangebirge verstecken oder gar im tiefen Meer. 24 Dann wirst du mit deinen Füßen in ihrem Blut stehen, und deine Hunde werden es auflecken.« 25 Gott, alle sind Zeugen deines Triumphzuges; sie sehen, wie du ins Heiligtum einziehst, du, mein Gott und König! 26 Die Sänger führen den Zug an, ihnen folgen die Harfenspieler, umringt von Mädchen, die das Tamburin schlagen: 27 »Preist Gott, ihr Chöre, preist den HERRN, ihr Nachkommen Israels!« 28 Darauf folgt Benjamin, der kleinste unter den Stämmen, nach ihm kommen die Fürsten von Juda mit ihrem Gefolge und schließlich die Fürsten von Sebulon und von Naftali. 29 Gott, zeige deine Macht, die du schon früher an uns erwiesen hast!* 30 Dein Tempel ragt hoch über Jerusalem. Dorthin bringen dir Könige ihren Tribut. 31 Erschrecke die Großmacht Ägypten, das Ungeheuer am Nil! Weise die Machthaber und ihre Völker zurecht! Zerstreue die Nationen in alle Winde, die nach Beute gieren und den Krieg lieben!* 32 Aus Ägypten werden Gesandte ankommen, Äthiopien wird herbeieilen und Gott reiche Geschenke bringen*. 33 Singt zur Ehre Gottes, spielt für ihn auf euren Instrumenten, ihr Völker dieser Erde! 34 Er reitet durch den Himmel, der seit Urzeiten besteht. Hört, wie gewaltig seine Stimme ertönt! 35 Verkündet Gottes Herrschaft! Er regiert über Israel, und seiner Macht sind auch über den Wolken keine Grenzen gesetzt! 36 Die Menschen erschrecken und staunen, wenn er in seinem Heiligtum erscheint. Der Gott Israels gibt seinem Volk Stärke und Kraft. Gelobt sei Gott!

Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. 2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. 3 But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice. 4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him. 5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. 6 God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land . 7 O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah: 8 The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel. 9 Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary. 10 Thy congregation hath dwelt therein: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor. 11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it . 12 Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home divided the spoil. 13 Though ye have lien among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold. 14 When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon. 15 The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan; an high hill as the hill of Bashan. 16 Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever. 17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place . 18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them . 19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation.
