4 Your neck is like the tower of David, built in rows of stone;[1] on it hang a thousand shields, all of them shields of warriors. (2Sa 1:21; Ne 3:19; So 7:4; Eze 27:10) 

New International Version

4 Your neck is like the tower of David, built with courses of stone[1]; on it hang a thousand shields, all of them shields of warriors. 

New International Reader’s Version

4 Your neck is strong and beautiful like the tower of David. That tower is built with rows of stones. A thousand shields are hanging on it. All of them belong to mighty soldiers. 

King James Version

4 Thy neck is like the tower of David builded for an armoury, whereon there hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men.
