Revelation 13:10

English Standard Version

10 If anyone is to be taken captive, to captivity he goes; if anyone is to be slain with the sword, with the sword must he be slain. Here is a call for the endurance and faith of the saints. (Ge 9:6; Isa 33:1; Jer 15:2; Jer 43:11; Re 14:12) 

New International Version

10 ‘If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed[1] with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.’ This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people. (Jer 15:2) 

New International Reader’s Version

10 ‘Everyone who is supposed to be captured will be captured. Everyone who is supposed to be killed by a sword will be killed by a sword.’ So God’s people must be patient and faithful. (Jer 15:2) 

King James Version

10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
