1 Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff, and I was told, “Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there, (Eze 40:3; Zec 2:1; Re 21:15) 

New International Version

1 I was given a reed like a measuring rod and was told, ‘Go and measure the temple of God and the altar, with its worshippers. 

New International Reader’s Version

1 I was given a long stick that looked like a measuring rod. I was told, ‘Go and measure the temple of God. And measure the altar where the people are worshipping. 

King James Version

1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
