Proverbs 28:6

6 Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than a rich man who is crooked in his ways. (Pr 19:1; Pr 28:18)

New International Version

6 Better the poor whose way of life is blameless than the rich whose ways are perverse.

6 It is better to be poor and live without blame than to be rich and follow a crooked path.
