Proverbs 28:11

English Standard Version

11 A rich man is wise in his own eyes, but a poor man who has understanding will find him out. (Job 13:9; Pr 26:5; Pr 26:16) 

New International Version

11 The rich are wise in their own eyes; one who is poor and discerning sees how deluded they are. 

New International Reader’s Version

11 Rich people may think they are wise. But a poor person with understanding knows that rich people are fooling themselves.

11 The rich man is wise in his own conceit; but the poor that hath understanding searcheth him out.
