2 “Command the people of Israel, and say to them, When you enter the land of Canaan (this is the land that shall fall to you for an inheritance, the land of Canaan as defined by its borders), (Ge 17:8; Ex 3:8; Nu 34:13; Ps 105:11)

2 ‘Command the Israelites and say to them: “When you enter Canaan, the land that will be allotted to you as an inheritance is to have these boundaries:

2 ‘Give the Israelites a command. Tell them, “You are going to enter Canaan. The land will be given to you as your own. Here are the borders it must have.
