4 while the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn, whom the Lord had struck down among them. On their gods also the Lord executed judgments. (Ex 12:12; Ex 12:29; Isa 19:1) 

New International Version

4 who were burying all their firstborn, whom the Lord had struck down among them; for the Lord had brought judgment on their gods. 

New International Reader’s Version

4 The Egyptians were burying all their eldest sons. The LORD had struck them down. He had done it when he punished their gods. 

King James Version

4 For the Egyptians buried all their firstborn, which the LORD had smitten among them: upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.
