Nehemiah 2:13

English Standard Version

13 I went out by night by the Valley Gate to the Dragon Spring and to the Dung Gate, and I inspected the walls of Jerusalem that were broken down and its gates that had been destroyed by fire. (2Ch 26:9; Ne 1:3; Ne 2:3; Ne 2:17; Ne 3:13; Ne 12:31) 

New International Version

13 By night I went out through the Valley Gate towards the Jackal[1] Well and the Dung Gate, examining the walls of Jerusalem, which had been broken down, and its gates, which had been destroyed by fire. 

New International Reader’s Version

13 That night I went out through the Valley Gate. I went towards the Jackal Well and the Dung Gate. I checked out the walls of Jerusalem. They had been broken down. I also checked the city gates. Fire had burned them up. 

King James Version

13 And I went out by night by the gate of the valley, even before the dragon well, and to the dung port, and viewed the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down, and the gates thereof were consumed with fire.
