6 he need not honor his father.’ So for the sake of your tradition you have made void the word[1] of God. (Ro 2:23; Ga 3:17) 

New International Version

6 they are not to “honour their father or mother” with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition. 

New International Reader’s Version

6 So they do not need to honour their father or mother with their gift. You make the word of God useless in order to follow your own teachings. 

King James Version

6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
