29 but they urged him strongly, saying, “Stay with us, for it is toward evening and the day is now far spent.” So he went in to stay with them. (Lu 9:12) 

New International Version

29 But they urged him strongly, ‘Stay with us, for it is nearly evening; the day is almost over.’ So he went in to stay with them. 

New International Reader’s Version

29 But they tried hard to keep him from leaving. They said, ‘Stay with us. It is nearly evening. The day is almost over.’ So he went in to stay with them. 

King James Version

29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.
