22 And when the time came for their purification according to the Law of Moses, they brought him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord (1Sa 1:22; 1Sa 1:24; Lu 2:21; Lu 2:27; Ga 4:4) 

New International Version

22 When the time came for the purification rites required by the Law of Moses, Joseph and Mary took him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord 

New International Reader’s Version

22 The time came for making Mary ‘clean’ as required by the Law of Moses. So Joseph and Mary took Jesus to Jerusalem. There they presented him to the Lord.

22 And when the days of her purification according to the law of Moses were accomplished, they brought him to Jerusalem, to present him to the Lord;
