English Standard Version

36 and be like men who are waiting for their master to come home from the wedding feast, so that they may open the door to him at once when he comes and knocks. (2Pe 3:12; Re 3:20) 

New International Version

36 like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding banquet, so that when he comes and knocks they can immediately open the door for him. 

New International Reader’s Version

36 Be like servants waiting for their master to return from a wedding dinner. When he comes and knocks, they can open the door for him at once. 

King James Version

36 And ye yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he cometh and knocketh, they may open unto him immediately.
