10 “A lay person shall not eat of a holy thing; no foreign guest of the priest or hired worker shall eat of a holy thing, (Le 24:9; 1Sa 21:6; Mt 12:4; Mr 2:26; Lu 6:4)

New International Version

10 ‘ “No-one outside a priest’s family may eat the sacred offering, nor may the guest of a priest or his hired worker eat it.

New International Reader’s Version

10 ‘ “Only a member of a priest’s family can eat the sacred offering. The guest of a priest can’t eat it. A priest’s hired worker can’t eat it either.

King James Version

10 There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest, or an hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing.
