3 After him arose Jair the Gileadite, who judged Israel twenty-two years. 

New International Version

3 He was followed by Jair of Gilead, who led Israel for twenty-two years.

3 Jair became the leader after Tola. Jair was from the land of Gilead. He led Israel for 22 years.
