Joshua 8:6

English Standard Version

6 And they will come out after us, until we have drawn them away from the city. For they will say, ‘They are fleeing from us, just as before.’ So we will flee before them. (Jos 8:16) 

New International Version

6 They will pursue us until we have lured them away from the city, for they will say, “They are running away from us as they did before.” So when we flee from them, 

New International Reader’s Version

6 They’ll chase us until we’ve drawn them away from the city. They’ll say, “They are running away from us, just as they did before.” When we run away from them, 

King James Version

6 (For they will come out after us) till we have drawn them from the city; for they will say, They flee before us, as at the first: therefore we will flee before them.
