English Standard Version

50 By command of the Lord they gave him the city that he asked, Timnath-serah in the hill country of Ephraim. And he rebuilt the city and settled in it. (Jos 24:30; Jud 2:9) 

New International Version

50 as the Lord had commanded. They gave him the town he asked for – Timnath Serah[1] in the hill country of Ephraim. And he built up the town and settled there. (Jud 2:9) 

New International Reader’s Version

50 They did what the LORD had commanded them to do. They gave Joshua the town he asked for. It was Timnath Serah in the hill country of Ephraim. He built up the town and made his home there. 

King James Version

50 According to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnathserah in mount Ephraim: and he built the city, and dwelt therein.
