John 15:2

English Standard Version

2 Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. (Mt 3:10; Mt 7:19; Mt 13:12; Mt 15:13; Joh 15:6; Ro 11:17; Ro 11:22; 2Pe 1:8) 

New International Version

2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes[1] so that it will be even more fruitful. 

New International Reader’s Version

2 He cuts off every branch joined to me that does not bear fruit. He trims every branch that does bear fruit. Then it will bear even more fruit. 

King James Version

2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
