Jeremiah 8:11

English Standard Version

11 They have healed the wound of my people lightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ when there is no peace. (Jer 8:21) 

New International Version

11 They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. ‘Peace, peace,’ they say, when there is no peace. 

New International Reader’s Version

11 They bandage the wounds of my people as if they were not very deep. “Peace, peace,” they say. But there isn’t any peace. 

King James Version

11 For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.
