Jeremiah 18:6

English Standard Version

6 “O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter has done? declares the Lord. Behold, like the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel. (Job 10:9; Isa 45:9; Isa 64:8; Ro 9:20) 

New International Version

6 He said, ‘Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?’ declares the Lord. ‘Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, Israel. 

New International Reader’s Version

6 ‘People of Israel, I can do with you just as this potter does,’ announces the LORD. ‘The clay is in the potter’s hand. And you are in my hand, people of Israel. 

King James Version

6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter' hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
