Isaiah 63:9

English Standard Version

9 In all their affliction he was afflicted,[1] and the angel of his presence saved them; in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old. (De 7:7; De 32:10; Jud 10:16; Eze 16:5) 

New International Version

9 In all their distress he too was distressed, and the angel of his presence saved them.[1] In his love and mercy he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old. 

New International Reader’s Version

9 When they suffered, he suffered with them. He sent his angel to save them. He set them free because he is loving and kind. He lifted them up and carried them. He did it again and again in days long ago. 

King James Version

9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.
