Isaiah 4:4

English Standard Version

4 when the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and cleansed the bloodstains of Jerusalem from its midst by a spirit of judgment and by a spirit of burning.[1] (Isa 3:16; Isa 33:14; Eze 36:25; Mal 3:2; Mt 3:11; Lu 3:17) 

New International Version

4 The Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion; he will cleanse the bloodstains from Jerusalem by a spirit[1] of judgment and a spirit[2] of fire. 

New International Reader’s Version

4 The Lord will wash away the sin of the women in Zion. He will clean up the blood that was spilled there. He will judge those who spilled that blood. His burning anger will blaze out at them. 

King James Version

4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
