2 So Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, “Put away the foreign gods that are among you and purify yourselves and change your garments. (Ge 18:19; Ge 31:19; Ex 19:10; Jos 24:15; Jos 24:23; 1Sa 7:3) 

New International Version

2 So Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, ‘Get rid of the foreign gods you have with you, and purify yourselves and change your clothes. 

New International Reader’s Version

2 So Jacob spoke to his family and to everyone with him. He said, ‘Get rid of the statues of false gods you have with you. Make yourselves pure by washing and changing your clothes.
