12 Then Mordecai returned to the king’s gate. But Haman hurried to his house, mourning and with his head covered. (2Sa 15:30) 

New International Version

12 Afterwards Mordecai returned to the king’s gate. But Haman rushed home, with his head covered in grief, 

New International Reader’s Version

12 After that, Mordecai returned to the palace gate. But Haman rushed home. He covered his head because he was very sad. 

King James Version

12 And Mordecai came again to the king' gate. But Haman hasted to his house mourning, and having his head covered.
