Esther 2:10

English Standard Version

10 Esther had not made known her people or kindred, for Mordecai had commanded her not to make it known. (Es 2:20) 

New International Version

10 Esther had not revealed her nationality and family background, because Mordecai had forbidden her to do so. 

New International Reader’s Version

10 Esther hadn’t told anyone who her people were. She hadn’t talked about her family. That’s because Mordecai had told her not to. 

King James Version

10 Esther had not shewed her people nor her kindred: for Mordecai had charged her that she should not shew it .
