Deuteronomy 3:18

English Standard Version

18 “And I commanded you at that time, saying, ‘The Lord your God has given you this land to possess. All your men of valor shall cross over armed before your brothers, the people of Israel. (Nu 32:20; Jos 1:14; Jos 4:12) 

New International Version

18 I commanded you at that time: ‘The Lord your God has given you this land to take possession of it. But all your able-bodied men, armed for battle, must cross over ahead of the other Israelites. 

New International Reader’s Version

18 Here is the command I gave at that time to the tribes of Reuben and Gad and half of the tribe of Manasseh. I said, ‘The LORD your God has given you this land as your very own. But all your strong men must be prepared for battle. They must cross over ahead of the rest of the Israelites. 

King James Version

18 And I commanded you at that time, saying, The LORD your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all that are meet for the war.
