Deuteronomy 21:9

English Standard Version

9 So you shall purge the guilt of innocent blood from your midst, when you do what is right in the sight of the Lord. (De 19:13) 

New International Version

9 and you will have purged from yourselves the guilt of shedding innocent blood, since you have done what is right in the eyes of the Lord. 

New International Reader’s Version

9 So you will get rid of the guilt of killing someone who didn’t do anything wrong. That’s because you have done what is right in the LORD’s eyes. 

King James Version

9 So shalt thou put away the guilt of innocent blood from among you, when thou shalt do that which is right in the sight of the LORD.
