English Standard Version

1 King Belshazzar made a great feast for a thousand of his lords and drank wine in front of the thousand. (Es 1:3; Da 4:36; Da 5:22; Da 5:29; Da 6:17; Da 7:1; Da 8:1) 

New International Version

1 King Belshazzar gave a great banquet for a thousand of his nobles and drank wine with them. 

New International Reader’s Version

1 King Belshazzar gave a huge banquet. He invited a thousand of his nobles to it. He drank wine with them. 

King James Version

1 Belshazzar the king made a great feast to a thousand of his lords, and drank wine before the thousand.
