14 Nevertheless, because by this deed you have utterly scorned the Lord,[1] the child who is born to you shall die.” (Isa 52:5; Eze 36:20; Eze 36:23; Ro 2:24) 

New International Version

14 But because by doing this you have shown utter contempt for[1] the Lord, the son born to you will die.’

14 But you have dared to show great disrespect for the LORD. So the son who has been born to you will die.’ 

King James Version

14 Howbeit, because by this deed thou hast given great occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme, the child also that is born unto thee shall surely die.
