13 But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells. (Isa 60:21; Isa 65:17; Isa 66:22; Re 21:1; Re 21:27)

13 But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. 

New International Reader’s Version

13 But we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth. Godliness will live there. All this is in keeping with God’s promise. 

King James Version

13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
