15 Forsaking the right way, they have gone astray. They have followed the way of Balaam, the son of Beor, who loved gain from wrongdoing, (Nu 22:5; Nu 22:7; De 23:4; Ne 13:2; Eze 14:11; 2Pe 2:13; Jud 1:11; Re 2:14)

15 They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Bezer,[1] who loved the wages of wickedness.

15 They have left God’s way. They have wandered off. They follow the way of Balaam, son of Beor. He loved to get paid for doing his evil work. 

King James Version

15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
