17 For when he received honor and glory from God the Father, and the voice was borne to him by the Majestic Glory, “This is my beloved Son,[1] with whom I am well pleased,” (Mt 3:17; Mt 17:5; Mr 9:7; Lu 9:35) 

New International Version

17 He received honour and glory from God the Father when the voice came to him from the Majestic Glory, saying, ‘This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.’[1] (Mt 17:5; Mr 9:7; Lu 9:35) 

New International Reader’s Version

17 God the Father gave him honour and glory. The voice of the Majestic Glory came to him. It said, ‘This is my Son, and I love him. I am very pleased with him.’ (Mt 17:5; Mr 9:7; Lu 9:35) 

King James Version

17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
