33 And Pharaoh Neco put him in bonds at Riblah in the land of Hamath, that he might not reign in Jerusalem, and laid on the land a tribute of a hundred talents[1] of silver and a talent of gold. (1Ki 8:65; 2Ki 23:29; 2Ki 25:6; 2Ki 25:20; Jer 39:5; Jer 52:9; Jer 52:26)

33 Pharaoh Necho put him in chains at Riblah in the land of Hamath so that he might not reign in Jerusalem, and he imposed on Judah a levy of a hundred talents[1] of silver and a talent[2] of gold.

New International Reader’s Version

33 Pharaoh Necho put him in chains at Riblah in the land of Hamath. That kept him from ruling in Jerusalem. Necho made the people of Judah pay him a tax of almost 4 tonnes of silver and 36 kilograms of gold.
