English Standard Version

2 And he did what was evil in the sight of the Lord, according to the despicable practices of the nations whom the Lord drove out before the people of Israel. (2Ki 16:3) 

New International Version

2 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, following the detestable practices of the nations the Lord had driven out before the Israelites. 

New International Reader’s Version

2 Manasseh did what was evil in the eyes of the LORD. He followed the practices of the nations. The LORD hated those practices. He had driven those nations out to make room for the Israelites. 

King James Version

2 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
