English Standard Version

33 So they feared the Lord but also served their own gods, after the manner of the nations from among whom they had been carried away. 

New International Version

33 They worshipped the Lord, but they also served their own gods in accordance with the customs of the nations from which they had been brought. 

New International Reader’s Version

33 The people worshipped the LORD. But they also served their own gods. They followed the evil practices of the nations they had been taken from. 

King James Version

33 They feared the LORD, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence.
