2 And he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, and walked in the ways of David his father; and he did not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. 

New International Version

2 He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord and followed the ways of his father David, not turning aside to the right or to the left. 

New International Reader’s Version

2 He did what was right in the eyes of the LORD. He lived the way King David had lived. He didn’t turn away from it to the right or the left. 

King James Version

2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the ways of David his father, and declined neither to the right hand, nor to the left.
