12 And when he was in distress, he entreated the favor of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. (2Ch 32:26) 

New International Version

12 In his distress he sought the favour of the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his ancestors. 

New International Reader’s Version

12 When Manasseh was in trouble, he asked the LORD his God to help him. He made himself very humble in the sight of the God of his people.
