2 Chronicles 24:11

English Standard Version

11 And whenever the chest was brought to the king’s officers by the Levites, when they saw that there was much money in it, the king’s secretary and the officer of the chief priest would come and empty the chest and take it and return it to its place. Thus they did day after day, and collected money in abundance. 

New International Version

11 Whenever the chest was brought in by the Levites to the king’s officials and they saw that there was a large amount of money, the royal secretary and the officer of the chief priest would come and empty the chest and carry it back to its place. They did this regularly and collected a great amount of money. 

New International Reader’s Version

11 The chest was brought in by the Levites to the king’s officials. Every time the officials saw there was a large amount of money in the chest, it was emptied out. The royal secretary and the officer of the chief priest came and emptied it. Then they carried it back to its place. They did it regularly. They collected a great amount of money. 

King James Version

11 Now it came to pass, that at what time the chest was brought unto the king' office by the hand of the Levites, and when they saw that there was much money, the king' scribe and the high priest' officer came and emptied the chest, and took it, and carried it to his place again. Thus they did day by day, and gathered money in abundance.
