English Standard Version

36 He joined him in building ships to go to Tarshish, and they built the ships in Ezion-geber. (2Ch 9:21) 

New International Version

36 He agreed with him to construct a fleet of trading ships.[1] After these were built at Ezion Geber, 

New International Reader’s Version

36 Jehoshaphat agreed with him to build a lot of ships. They were built at Ezion Geber. They carried goods that were traded for other goods. 

King James Version

36 And he joined himself with him to make ships to go to Tarshish: and they made the ships in Eziongeber.
