3 Then Jehoshaphat was afraid and set his face to seek the Lord, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. (1Ch 22:19; 2Ch 19:3; Ezr 8:21; Jer 36:9; Joe 1:14; Joe 2:15; Jon 3:5) 

New International Version

3 Alarmed, Jehoshaphat resolved to enquire of the Lord, and he proclaimed a fast for all Judah. 

New International Reader’s Version

3 Jehoshaphat was alarmed. So he decided to ask the LORD for advice. He told all the people of Judah to go without eating. 

King James Version

3 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.
