6 and said to the judges, “Consider what you do, for you judge not for man but for the Lord. He is with you in giving judgment. (De 1:17) 

New International Version

6 He told them, ‘Consider carefully what you do, because you are not judging for mere mortals but for the Lord, who is with you whenever you give a verdict. 

New International Reader’s Version

6 He told the judges, ‘Think carefully about what you do. After all, you aren’t judging for human beings. You are judging for the LORD. He’s with you every time you make a decision.
