17 But the high places were not taken out of Israel. Nevertheless, the heart of Asa was wholly true all his days. (2Ch 14:3; 2Ch 14:5) 

New International Version

17 Although he did not remove the high places from Israel, Asa’s heart was fully committed to the Lord all his life. 

New International Reader’s Version

17 Asa didn’t remove the high places from Israel. But he committed his whole life completely to the LORD. 

King James Version

17 But the high places were not taken away out of Israel: nevertheless the heart of Asa was perfect all his days.
