1 Samuel 7:13

English Standard Version

13 So the Philistines were subdued and did not again enter the territory of Israel. And the hand of the Lord was against the Philistines all the days of Samuel. (Jud 13:1) 

New International Version

13 So the Philistines were subdued and they stopped invading Israel’s territory. Throughout Samuel’s lifetime, the hand of the Lord was against the Philistines. 

New International Reader’s Version

13 So the Philistines were brought under Israel’s control. The Philistines didn’t attack their territory again. The LORD used his power against the Philistines as long as Samuel lived. 

King James Version

13 So the Philistines were subdued, and they came no more into the coast of Israel: and the hand of the LORD was against the Philistines all the days of Samuel.
