24 She fell at his feet and said, “On me alone, my lord, be the guilt. Please let your servant speak in your ears, and hear the words of your servant. (2Sa 14:9)

24 She fell at his feet and said: ‘Pardon your servant, my lord, and let me speak to you; hear what your servant has to say.

24 She fell at his feet. She said, ‘Pardon your servant, sir. Please let me speak to you. Listen to what I’m saying. Let me take the blame myself.

24 And fell at his feet, and said, Upon me, my lord, upon me let this iniquity be : and let thine handmaid, I pray thee, speak in thine audience, and hear the words of thine handmaid.
