16 And if the man said to him, “Let them burn the fat first, and then take as much as you wish,” he would say, “No, you must give it now, and if not, I will take it by force.” 

New International Version

16 If the person said to him, ‘Let the fat be burned first, and then take whatever you want,’ the servant would answer, ‘No, hand it over now; if you don’t, I’ll take it by force.’ 

New International Reader’s Version

16 Sometimes the person would say to him, ‘Let the fat be burned first. Then take what you want.’ But the servant would answer, ‘No. Hand it over right now. If you don’t, I’ll take it away from you by force.’ 

King James Version

16 And if any man said unto him, Let them not fail to burn the fat presently, and then take as much as thy soul desireth; then he would answer him, Nay ; but thou shalt give it me now: and if not, I will take it by force.
