29 Saul was even more afraid of David. So Saul was David’s enemy continually. 

New International Version

29 Saul became still more afraid of him, and he remained his enemy for the rest of his days. 

New International Reader’s Version

29 So Saul became even more afraid of him. As long as Saul lived, he remained David’s enemy. 

King James Version

29 And Saul was yet the more afraid of David; and Saul became David' enemy continually.
