7 The shaft of his spear was like a weaver’s beam, and his spear’s head weighed six hundred shekels of iron. And his shield-bearer went before him. (1Sa 17:41) 

New International Version

7 His spear shaft was like a weaver’s rod, and its iron point weighed six hundred shekels.[1] His shield-bearer went ahead of him. 

New International Reader’s Version

7 His spear was as big as a weaver’s rod. Its iron point weighed 7 kilograms. The man who carried his shield walked along in front of him. 

King James Version

7 And the staff of his spear was like a weaver' beam; and his spear' head weighed six hundred shekels of iron: and one bearing a shield went before him.
